Recruitment Website Website Template FAQs: No Hidden Fees, No Stealth Charges

  • RecruiterWEB delivers template recruitment websites in 3-4 weeks with zero technical skills required from the client.

  • All features, staff users, site visits, and support requests are included at no extra cost. Competitors who charge per job, per user, or per visit are adding stealth fees with no technical justification.

  • Sites include brand colours, fonts, images, video, Google for Jobs integration, and ATS/CRM connectivity as standard.

  • RecruiterWEB has recorded 99.997% server uptime over 22 years, hosted on 100% green-energy servers in Germany.

  • Full GDPR compliance is built in, including compliance with the Companies Act. At present, 75% of recruitment sites we audit breach the Companies Act.

Recruitment Website Pricing and Features

Recruitment agencies investing in a website need to know exactly what they are paying, with no surprises. That is why our template sites are priced at £ 199 + VAT per month. There are no further costs to pay; all features come as standard, and there is unlimited use of all features, page creation, and site users.

Website Design and Customisation Options

Can I have my own brand colours and fonts?

Brand colours and fonts are part of the standard service. If your agency does not yet have an established brand identity, RecruiterWEB can advise on colour and font choices. For agencies requiring a full brand identity, award-winning branding services for recruiters are available from specialists in the recruitment sector. Additional fees apply for branding work.

Can I make custom changes to a template design?

Every template includes a wide range of configuration options covering layout, imagery, icons, video, and text. These changes are made directly in the site admin at no cost and account for 90% of a site's visual identity. For changes beyond the standard configuration, the Template Plus Service allows any structural or design modification. RecruiterWEB estimates the work, and the client approves before any cost is committed. Examples of Template Plus changes include mixing layout sections from different templates, adding custom page structures, and building non-standard navigation patterns.

Can I mix and match design features from different templates?

Yes. The Template Plus Service covers this. RecruiterWEB estimates the work required to combine design elements from different templates, and the client approves the estimate before work begins.

Can I use images and video on the site?

Images are provided free of charge as part of the standard service. Clients can supply their own images or work with their brand or marketing agency to produce them. Video is supported on all pages as standard, including integration with YouTube and Vimeo. Several RecruiterWEB demo sites use homepage video; others do not. Both approaches are fully supported.

Technical Integrations and Platform Capabilities

Which ATS and CRM platforms does RecruiterWEB integrate with?

API connectivity is available with Avionte, Bullhorn, Firefish, Jobadder, Loxo, RecruiterFlow, TROY, Vincere, Voyager, and Zoho. The complete and current integration list is available from your account manager, as new integrations are added regularly.

Which job posting tools does RecruiterWEB connect with?

RecruiterWEB connects with Broadbean, idibu, LogicMelon, and Wave. The connection process is self-service. Clients log in as site admin, download the instruction files for the relevant platform, and send those files to the job posting provider. The provider then has everything needed to establish the connection. RecruiterWEB does not charge for this connection. Broadbean, idibu, LogicMelon, and Wave may apply their own connection fees.

Does RecruiterWEB support Google for Jobs?

Yes. All sites automatically submit jobs to the Google for Jobs API as standard. Google does not guarantee indexing, but submitting via the API gives jobs the strongest possible chance of inclusion, rather than waiting for Google to scrape the site. RecruiterWEB's team provides guidance on structuring job listings to maximise inclusion rates. This guidance draws on 21+ years of Recruitment SEO experience. For a full picture of what recruitment SEO actually involves, the recruitment SEO service page explains the difference between on-page configuration and the off-page strategies that drive most organic performance.

Are sites mobile-compatible?

RecruiterWEB has built fully mobile-ready recruitment websites since 2007. Mobile compatibility is not an add-on. It is a baseline requirement that has been standard across all builds for nearly two decades.

Hosting, Security, and Compliance Standards

Where are RecruiterWEB sites hosted, and what is the uptime record?

Sites are hosted in Germany by an award-winning provider running on 100% green energy. RecruiterWEB has recorded 99.997% uptime from 2004 to date, with no unplanned server downtime during that period. Hosting is included in the support fee with no usage limits and no price increases based on traffic or storage.

Is RecruiterWEB GDPR compliant?

Yes. RecruiterWEB sites are built to comply with both UK GDPR and the Companies Act. Currently, 75% of recruitment websites we audit are in breach of the Companies Act, which carries fines of up to £1,000. The ICO has confirmed annually since 2016 that recruitment websites do not need to retain candidate data as many competitor platforms do. RecruiterWEB does not store candidate data on its websites, which removes a significant compliance risk for clients.

Are sites cyber secure?

Yes. Cybersecurity certificates are included as standard. The absence of stored personal data in RecruiterWEB's systems provides an additional layer of security that most competitor platforms cannot offer, because those platforms retain candidate data by default.

Support, Onboarding, and Getting Started

How long does it take to build a recruitment website with RecruiterWEB?

Delivery typically takes 3-4 weeks, depending on the current project pipeline. The client's time commitment is approximately 2-3 hours across the full project: 30-60 minutes at the start to confirm design choices and content direction, 30-60 minutes when the test site is delivered for review, and a further 30-60 minutes for final sign-off. No technical, design, or website skills are required at any stage.

What does the support process look like after launch?

Every UK client receives a dedicated UK-based account manager. First-line support requests receive a response within 2 hours. More advanced requests are scoped, and a delivery timeframe is confirmed within 2 hours. Mission-critical issues are addressed immediately. International clients are supported by RecruiterWEB's international team, with staff currently based in the UK, Ukraine, France, Germany, Turkey, and the USA.

Can clients manage the site themselves after launch?

100% of routine updates, including text, images, icons, video, page additions, and admin access management, are handled directly in the site admin. Clients receive training materials, training videos, and unlimited support. An example training guide and an example training video are available on request from your account manager. The admin tools give complete control over adding, editing, moving, and sorting pages, with different access levels assignable to individual users.

Understanding who built your website and what their track record looks like is a reasonable question before committing to any vendor. The principle of making it clear who is behind the website applies to RecruiterWEB as much as to any recruitment agency site we build.

When vendors publish pricing or performance claims, the figures should be traceable. Our post on how we produce our numbers explains the methodology behind the statistics we publish, including the uptime and compliance figures cited on this page.

Do you charge extra based on the number of jobs on the site?

No. RecruiterWEB includes unlimited jobs and does not charge clients according to job volume.

Our in-house calculation found that the server and administration cost of holding one additional job is no more than £0.00000000007. This was calculated using the monthly server and administration costs and the total number of jobs held across our clients’ websites over a one-year period.

Charging according to the number of jobs is therefore a pricing decision, rather than a reflection of RecruiterWEB’s actual server and administration costs. Our current plan details are available on the Template recruitment website page.

Do you charge extra based on how many features you use?

No. Every platform feature listed by RecruiterWEB is available to all clients at no extra cost. Platform functions can be switched on or off according to each client’s requirements, without introducing separate feature charges.

This applies specifically to the comprehensive platform features listed on our recruitment website features page. ATS connections, bespoke development and optional services are separate services and are not platform features.

Do you charge extra based on the number of staff members?

No. Unlimited staff members and website user accounts are included as standard. RecruiterWEB does not apply a per-user or per-seat charge.

Clients can create accounts for their staff and assign different access rights without increasing their monthly website fee. Unlimited users and user-rights management are included within the platform features listed on our recruitment website features page.

Do you charge extra for site visits or server space?

No. RecruiterWEB does not increase the monthly fee according to the number of website visitors.

Hosting, server space and bandwidth are included in the monthly fee, with no usage-based charges applied as a client’s website traffic grows. These services are detailed on our client support and maintenance page.

Do you charge extra for support requests?

No. Unlimited standard support and training are included across all RecruiterWEB plans.

If a client requests something outside standard support, such as the development of a new bespoke feature, the work is scoped and any cost is agreed before development begins. Bespoke development is a separate service and is not treated as a standard support request. Our included support services are explained on the client support and maintenance page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you charge extra based on the number of jobs on the site?

Charging by job volume is unjustifiable. The actual server cost of hosting one additional job on a website is at most £0.00000000007. Many competitors charge per job because recruiters buy job board listings that way, and the pricing model feels familiar. It is not a legitimate cost. Do not accept it.

Do you charge extra based on how many features you use?

Every feature RecruiterWEB builds is available to all clients at no extra charge. When code is written correctly, a feature exists in the codebase for every user the moment it is deployed. Charging separately for individual features is a pricing tactic, not a cost recovery. Our full feature list is published on the recruitment website features page.

Do you charge extra based on the number of staff members?

Unlimited staff members and user accounts are included as standard. Competitors charge per seat because other RecTech products, suchs as CRMs and ATS platforms, are licensed per user. A recruitment website has zero incremental cost for additional staff pages or user accounts. Any vendor charging per user either has poorly built technology or is adding margin without justification.

Do you charge extra for site visits or server space?

Unlimited visitors are included in the support fee, which does not increase based on traffic. Modern server rental plans make per-visit charges unjustifiable. If a vendor charges you more as your site grows in traffic, that charge is not a cost pass-through. It is a penalty for your own success.

Do you charge extra for support requests?

Unlimited support requests are included. Either a product is priced to cover support costs, or it is not. Adding per-request fees after the sale is a way of hiding the true cost of the product. RecruiterWEB prices its service to include full support from the outset.
